The Broadview Loop and Short Creek R.R. is a freelance narrow gauge loop 270’ in length plus 3 spurs and occupies a space of 19’ x 27’.

Of interest to some of you might be the routing of the R.R. to overcome a 20" difference in elevation from low point to high point. I use code 250 aluminum rail joined by fishplates with nuts and bolts. The turnouts are of the "stub" type and are hand made, except for the frogs, to fit the locations.

The water feature was removed a few years back and replaced by a two-stall engine house, a 3-way stub with a lead off the main line. Several old structures, I mean real old, are in the layout, but no flowers and not more creek, sorry.
