Welcome to the first open house of the Silverton & Copper Creek Railroad. Construction of the layout began in 2008. One of the main features is a small waterfall feeding the 20 foot long Copper Creek running through the center of the layout. There is approximately 260 feet of track, 12 turnouts, three spur tracks with uncouplers and an additional two sidings occupying an area of 30 x 35 feet. The trains are controlled by track power using Massoth DCC controls.

The layout is comprised of three large loops. One of the loops is elevated by a 70 foot long trestle with a bridge spanning the river. There are a variety of trains from a Mikado pulling S.P. Daylight passenger cars to a modern day diesel pulling a freight train.

Plants and groundcover will be planted during the spring and early summer. Buildings are currently under construction and will be added as they are completed.
